Priceless

In Northwestern Ontario, where this photographer grew up among hunters and gatherers, leafy trees were scarce. “When I was young, I did not think I would make it because we were hungry in the winter. I used to think people who had green leaves were rich.” Hopefully, looking at this photo helps people to value nature, so they will appreciate trees, not desecrate them. “Trees are our breaths; they are the ones that give us oxygen.”
